Please take a few minutes to complete the Florida Chapter Membership Registration Form and return it along with your dues. We hope you have also joined our Parent organization, the Coast Guard Academy Parents Association.
The easiest, cheapest, and fastest way for the chapter to communicate with the members on a regular basis is via Email and the Internet. You are encouraged to register as a member of the Parents Association Parent to Parent (P2P) forum as well as the Florida Discussion Forum. If you have not already done that, go to http://www.uscgaparents.org/. Click on the hotlink at the bottom left to Register for Forums. When the Parent to Parent Forums page appears, select Register. Our moderator can add you as a member of the Florida Forum once you complete the P2P Registration and note a Florida residence.
All funds raised by the Florida Chapter will be used to benefit the cadets and their families. In addition to the Annual All-Service Academy Military Ball in December and a next morning gathering, this year’s chapter activities will include sending a mid-winter “dark ages” package to the cadet of each member; presenting graduation gifts to the Class of ’06 chapter member cadets; and hosting a social event to welcome the Class of 2009 swabs.
This organization is run exclusively by volunteers. In addition to the four elected officers, we need other members to help plan and execute a variety of activities and projects. Please don’t wait to be asked, let one of us know what you are interested in helping with.
